We will be here for you
These are trying times. Limited resources at the hospital, and concerns about community spread of the virus have forced us to cut back on scheduled office appointments, but we will do our best to be available for your urgent or “time sensitive” surgical needs.
In order to balance our hospital based work and office appointments and procedures, we will be providing care to our patients as a surgical team for the interim. What that means for our patients is that instead of one surgeon, now you have three. Any one of us may see you in the office, perform your surgery, or see you in followup, depending on which of us is available in that setting on a given day.
We will be answering the phones during regular office hours, and scheduling telemedicine visits online. New patients will need to provide to us your medical history, including medications and allergies, through our patient portal prior to your appointment. When your appointment is made, you will be sent a link by email to log in.
If you do have an appointment to come to our office, know that we will be screening patients about any recent travel, any known COVID exposure, and any concerning symptoms you may be having, particularly a fever, cough, or sore throat. If you have any symptoms it is essential that you stay at home, and contact your primary care doctor about what steps to take. If you have fever, respiratory symptoms, AND need urgent evaluation, you MAY be directed to the emergency room.
